Eridan exists because of the amazing people working here, so we figured we should introduce you to them. Samyuktha Kumar, Samy, has worked as a Mixed-Signal Design Engineer at Eridan since 2019 and this is her journey.

When did you start at Eridan and how did you find out about the company? Any previous experiences?
I started in July 2019 after I came across Eridan’s job posting on Indeed looking for a CMOS IC Design Engineer. It seemed like an interesting opportunity for me, so I then read up more about the company and the work they do on their website.
This is my first job out of school. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
How would you describe Eridan? Did anything surprise you once you started working here?
A motivated group of engineers and visionaries working on pushing the boundaries of wireless communication, learning and having fun in the process.
Something that surprised me was how strong the underlying technology is and how serious the company is towards realizing it as a commercial product.
What’s making you stay at Eridan? What future do you see with Eridan?
As someone who is at the beginning of their career, the opportunity for technical growth I have received here is immense. The exposure to complete workings of an electronic system is helping me evolve into a well-rounded engineer. I am grateful to have a team that truly values my contributions and is supportive of my professional goals.
Eridan is growing rapidly and I am very much looking forward to continuing being part of its upcoming journey.
Any difficult aspects about Eridan? And on the flip side, what’s the most memorable moment at Eridan so far?
At the moment, making the transition towards more formality within the organization but not quite fully there yet, is something I am trying to get used to.
Being an IC designer, the most memorable moment was to have an idea being realized in silicon and the satisfaction of seeing the circuit work in reality.
How do you spend your time outside of Eridan?
If I’m not working, I’m probably reading fiction or in search of events happening around me or binge-watching a TV series.
