Eridan has reimagined how wireless radios are built from the ground up. At the heart of our innovation is a breakthrough Switch-Mode Direct Polar transmitter: a digitally controlled, ultra-efficient design that removes the traditional linear amplifier.
Built with custom Gallium Nitride (GaN) for the power stages and CMOS SOI for the controller, this unique architecture deconstructs the I and Q data into amplitude and phase, known as polar modulation, and then synthesizes the waveform directly at power with the GaN devices. Protected by over 59 patents, this design delivers signal fidelity and power efficiency conventional radios cannot match.

Every Eridan radio transmits an Ultra-Clean Signal™ with exceptionally low distortion, achieving an Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) as low as 0.4%. Eridan’s signal purity far exceeds standard limits, enabling:

Four Times Higher Power Efficiency
Traditional radios depend on linear amplification, which has become less efficient with each cellular generation. New techniques, such as DPD and CFR, compensate for this inefficiency. Instead of compensating for a fundamentally inefficient component, Eridan’s transmitter generates the waveform directly within the power stage, delivering up to four times higher power efficiency.
Two Octaves of Tuning Range
Eridan’s transmitter operates across two octaves of tuning range (600 MHz to 4.2 GHz), making it adaptable to multiple frequency bands with a simple passive filter board swap. This flexibility reduces inventory, simplifies manufacturing, and accelerates deployment.

Because of its Ultra-Clean Signal™ and high efficiency, Eridan radios cover the ground with more data per tower, cutting total infrastructure needs dramatically:
