Conflict Minerals Policy
Our Commitment
Eridan Communication is committed to ethical sourcing and preventing the use of minerals that fund violence or human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries.
Covered Minerals (3TG)
This policy applies to the following minerals used in our battery-free products:
- Tin (Cassiterite)
- Tantalum (Columbite-tantalite)
- Tungsten (Wolframite)
- Gold
Supply Chain Due Diligence
Because we do not purchase raw minerals directly, we rely on rigorous supply chain tracing. In compliance with SEC regulations and OECD guidelines, we utilize the industry-standard Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) to trace materials back to their originating smelters and refiners.Supplier RequirementsWe hold our supply chain partners to strict ethical standards. All direct Eridan suppliers must:
- Source Responsibly: Procure 3TG materials exclusively from certified “conflict-free” facilities.
- Report Annually: Complete and submit annual CMRT disclosures.
- Cascade Standards: Enforce these identical conflict-free requirements on their own upstream suppliers.
Enforcement
Suppliers discovered using non-certified minerals must immediately implement a corrective action plan to transition to verified sources. Continued non-compliance or failure to cooperate will result in the re-evaluation or termination of the business relationship.
