Omid Tahernia

Omid has over 35 years of industry experience running large-scale, high volume businesses including hardware, software, and semiconductor. Omid was most recently an Executive Vice President at Bridgewest Group, LLC and CEO of Endura Technologies. He also served as the CEO of Ikanos Communications, acquired by Qualcomm in 2015. Prior to that, he was the President and CEO of Tilera Corporation, and had spent more than 3 years with Xilinx, as Corporate Vice President & General Manager of its Processing Solutions Group. Omid is a 20-year veteran with Motorola in various Executive leadership roles. He received an MSEE degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Douglas Kirkpatrick

Douglas is a VC and former Chief Scientist at DARPA, where he led projects ranging from rapid DNA synthesis to real-time holographic displays. Prior to DARPA, Dr. Kirkpatrick was the VP of R&D for Fusion Lighting, and prior to that a staff scientist and VP at SAIC. Dr. Kirkpatrick received his BS degree (Physics & Mathematics) from the College of William and Mary (1980) and his Ph.D. from MIT in 1988 (Physics). He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and has authored more than 30 journal articles and 60 US and international patents.

Dubravko Babić

As Co-Founder and head of Eridan’s Croatia office, he leads efforts in GaN design while also serving as a Professor at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. His background includes leadership roles at Group4 Labs, Alvésta Corporation, and Hewlett Packard Laboratories, supported by more than 140 publications and 35 U.S. patents.

Paul Draxler

Paul brings over 30 years of experience in hardware design and R&D, including extensive work at Qualcomm. His expertise spans advanced power amplifiers, transmitters, transceivers, and the digital signal processing that enables high-performance designs. Holding bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Ph.D. from UCSD, he combines deep technical knowledge with proven leadership to guide Eridan’s technology development.

Rick brings a diverse background in global sales and marketing, including leadership roles at Motorola and Vodafone, where he contributed to Motorola’s expansion into China and helped launch the world’s first photo texting service. Later, he led several successful start-ups, including a collaboration with Apple in China to build and operate a chain of retail stores. He holds a B.S. in Business from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Kansas.

Timo Naalisvaara

Timo brings 30 years of experience in radio and RF technology development, spanning from early 3G systems to Nokia’s first massive-MIMO radio for 5G. Most recently, he served eight years as Customer CTO for Nokia’s business with T-Mobile US. His career has centered on advancing technologies that address real customer challenges and transition into commercially deployed networks. He holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) from the University of Oulu, Finland.

Dharmesh was also the Director of Technical Solutions at Ericsson where he oversaw sales and solution support for 3G and 4G LTE networks.
